If you have had other software hooked up to cable it is worse to get hooked to TP. I really don't know why TPV5 is so hard to get to once you have used your cable with other software? First off... your having to much fun! :D

i don't think anyone has yet made a solid adx for the $85 ECM. If you can get data to laptop then you seem to know how to get it to TV!

Have you tried the other versions I made? Do they work? If you will test I will work on making them work.

I looked at ALDL files for $6E and there seems to be a huge difference in 89 to 90. From what you told me you have one that is the far more complicated of the 2.

Try the other one I linked you to.

I would like to see what yours looks like and I can match it to the ALDL.ds file.

Baud is usually set to 0 which is default...

You could try the others in meantime... they do not have a connect or disconnect and I am not sure they are needed on this adx...

You would need the ALDL.ds file to write and adx for TunerPro. I have never seen any Ford ALDL files available for Fords...

For now you may have a Scantool that would give information needed for tuning? Mine does record data as well. HTH!

WOW! You did a great job on an adx from ALDL!

I was skimming through it and only found one issue, unique code number 95 is used in 2 places code 24 and code 22 so it would not let me look further till I changed it.

Well it was happening again today but I was adding some parameter settings to XDF items for data tracing and they didn't work? Checked and set right, didn't work? Used Custom Tools to open New TunerPro Instance and in the new opened TP New Separator works! So I closed the first TunerPro I opened and New Separator is working correctly in New Instance. Closed that TunerPro so no TunerPros are open and clicked TP Desktop Icon for TP and it still works correctly....

OK I duplicated the problem. It's when you have a New TunerPro Instance open, ie 2 TunerProsRT.

Tools, Custom Tools, New TunerPro Instance, then change adx in New TunerPro instance, Add New Seperator and can not change name from New Seperator...

You need the XDF file to work on the chip and the ADX file to record data. They are specific to your ECM and most are listed here:

Well I'm figurung this ADS file is built from origanal ALDL DS files. I have all them. Once they are converted or built you have the equivilent for instance $42 is ALDL A033.ds converted is now A033.ads. Import to Tunerpro and you now have an ADX that can be custimized in TP and hand edited in NoteP...
