i've got time on my hands and have been slowly adding to the list on the site, but i don't know what people want/need.

I need a XDF and an ADS for $A1 for a 7730 ecm. I had it but my Hard drive crashed and the site where I got it no longer has it. :cry:

bad news i guess, i can't find any good information out there for the australian ECMs/PCMs, so i can't make ADS files for them.

if anybody knows of where i could find such information, please share it with the community so i can keep pumping out ADS files.

not that i know of, but that ECM was used in 90-91 W-body Quad 4 cars... think its worth a shot to try and make a def for that and see if it works on the lotus?

unfortunately no...

i've occasionaly seen the ALDL streams in some of the more well-documented hacs...

I've got some info on table F95 if it would help, I'm just not sure as to how accurate it is.

i found something, but its not the most reliable info...

i can get MOST values into the ADS...

but according to the site, i don't know if TPV4 can do it. technicly you could probably use the quick-send button to send the mode 0 to "wake-up" the ECU and then connect...

well, i'm off to make a ADS...

I think the message starts with 0xF0 for the $74 Lotus ecm. I also had a quick look at the Lotus Carlton Mode 1 data and it does not tie in with the data I have in the F95 table.

If TunerPro v4 cannot handle the comms, would ScannerPro?

since the hot topic of the year is that TPV5 is built on the scannerpro engine, then yes i assume it would(assuming you set up the macros correctly), but i still think i can get it to work with V4...

give me some time(maybe another hour) and i'll have it done, and feel free to test it

right, it is $EE. V4 has problems with it though so i can't gurantee it will work... but is it an auto or manual and LT1 or LT5?

i was wrong, thats a $DA car, $EE is 94-95

download the DA2 ADS from the TP site, it should work.

what exactly is the vehicle? the way the ADS source files are arranged is that you look up the vehicle/engine combo and determine the correct definition from there.

How about an ADS for a 95 Camaro LT1?

I found $EE file, but there is no ADS for that. I was looking at the A274 ALDL data, and trying to figure out how to make it myself, but since I am very new to this program, I am not sure what bits, and bytes they are referring to in the message stream.

That would be great!

TP V4 has trouble communicating with EE cars due to the 5(IIRC) datastreams the PCM pushes out.

fixed in V5...

by $31 are you refering to a turbo 3.8 motor or a NA motor?

for a T31 (1227148) XDF, download the one on the TP downloads page. it took me about 12 hours for that one.

for a NA(1227153) i have a XDF for it thats 76KB in size.

i didn't make the T31 XDF on the downloads page, but if you feel its lacking let me know, and i'll make a full one.

i don't know if a NA 31 ADS exists, but if its what you have, then let me know and i'll whip one up.

This is a 16197427 in a 95 k2500, 350, tbi, 4L80E. I have read that its either $31 or $0E and with 0E a few of the values are crazy so I figured it was 31. unfortunately its not $0D.

The bin I read from my memcal, the case said BNKM and I dont have any reason to think its not it.

I cant tell anymore if I think its $31 or $0E and neither of the xdf's I have display Mask ID like my $0D one does.

Just to see I opened $0D back op, selected the bin I read from my memcal as the compare to bin and opened mask ID and it is 31, I dont know if you can trust doing it that way though.

i have BNKM listed as a $0D BIN...

the spark tables look fine but the VE looks odd...

its possibly a 0E BIN

I got a ninja edit in on you.

I dont think its $0D, all 3 (0D,0E, and 31) are so close that cant really tell, I am getting the same thing as you with the spark table being normal looking and the VE being crazy in 0D and 0E, only in $31 does everything look normal. That plus the mask ID being 31 has me almost convinced this thing is $31.

Okay after some more checking it is without a doubt $31, the fuel cut-out from my chip read is 0rpm in 0D, 2000rpm in 0E and 4800 in $31. Brings me back to the original topic at hand, do you think I could pretty please get a ads for this $31?

Hi Robert, Mark M. referred me here to ask about fixing/creating an ADS for my vehicle. Thanks for this service you provide!

I have a 1990 Cadillac Sedan deVille (4.5L TPI V8), PCM #16132240 ($CD1, ATTL mask). I found an .ADS for the '91-'93 PCM of my car (same serv. #) in the user contributed section on the TP website, but so far it hasn't worked.

My main issue is that when I turn on the ignition, TPRTv4 no longer recognizes my ALDL cable being connected. If I leave off the ignition and do a check in TP, it detects the cable. As soon as I turn on the ignition or start the engine, it's like it can't see it any more. This happens in both standard cable mode. In APU1 mode, there is no response from PCM when attempting to connect.

Mark says this could be from talking on the ALDL line for which the ADS file doesn't have provisions.

What do you think? Can you help me with an .ads file for my PCM/vehicle?

i'm looking through the ADS files, but i'm not seeing anything with that description, the only thing cadillac related up there is the ADS i did for the northstar cars...

Hi Robert,

I need an .ads file for a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT 2.8L, 5 sp, VIN 9.
It uses a 1227170 ECM. I believe the proper definition is 24.xdf

Can an .ADS file be made up for a 7730 ecm running code mask $6D? 2.8 v-6 5 spd, BCC ARDC.

need a little more info first. am i correct in assuming thats an 88 J-body? and did it have the MAF modification done during the factory recall?

scratch that, i found info on it based on your BCC. it had the recall work done. now i need to know which EGR it uses, EVRV or is it the digital setup?

It is a speed density system, no MAF on it at all. EGR is vacuum with sensor on it.
