Are XDF files unique for 1 car ?
Or is it possible to use One XDF for differtent cars?

Yes, no, both. =)

The answer depends on the vehicle/XDF. For instance, the General Motors 6E XDF is common to any 1989 TPI vehicle, including Firebirds, Camaros, and Corvettes.

On the other hand, some of the other definitions are unique to an individual year/model/make.
